I'm almost finished with my sugar skull....
I'm in the fun coloring phase.
You also can do some fun coloring.
Chances are if you're reading this you're either from Oregon (where we live now)
or maybe you're a pirate.
Either way, you can head over to my Etsy shop to purchase a digital download of the above coloring sheets. They wont have the big words on them once you download it--that's just to protect my work. (And let me know if there is an illustration of mine that you would like to see as a coloring sheet.)
Pretty soon, I'll have my sugar skull available as a coloring sheet as well. Just you wait.
And yep, we went to the coast again, this time with Ryan's family. We just can't stay away. Its fun to show off our new home state (and to spend time with them).
And tomorrow, we fly to a very different coast line to spend time with more very special people.
I finished these lovely, cutie-pie manatees this week. They were commissioned by someone to give to her good friend, so I call it "Manatee Besties." Available as a print soon, with and without the quote.
In other HUGE news, we bought a house! We love it and are so excited to make it our home. We still have the lease on our original house, so we will slowly be moving over there and making it our own.
And we just discovered there's an apple tree in our front yard, which is super cool.
I didn't update last week because I was in lovely Yosemite with a dear friend.
We liked it there if you can't tell.
Next up on my art-to-do list is a sugar skull to finish, an Oregon to finish, and the initials of a baby boy that will enter the world in November.*
*My dear nephew. No I'm not pregnant.
A place to share the process. A space to be honest about the triumphs and trials of my daily life as an artist and mama. Writing motivates and refreshes me.
