When I'm wanting to draw something new and am feeling uninspired, I sometimes glance at the Illustration Friday weekly illustration challenge. This week they're challenge was "Dragon." I thought that sounded fun, so I dove in. Here's some chronological process pics of my little dragon drawing.  initial sketch  inked and starting to fill it in  at this point I scanned it so I can make it into a coloring sheet eventually  all filled in and shaded Another nice thing about the design challenge is is gives me a due date. Submissions are always due on Friday. I was all pleased that I finished in time, but now it's Friday and my scanner isn't working. Ug! It's driving me crazy.  Uuuuggggggg. In non-drawing news, I made these cafe curtains this week using these instructions. I'm not a big seamstress, so I'm very pleased with them.  It's fun to slowly make our house more homey.

I recently drew a collection of bow ties.  it was simple, quick, and cute. Today I made it available in a few of my online shops, and I think it's pretty nice on some of the products. Click on each image to find out more.    This is the first time I'm posting on my blog via the Weebly app on my iPad. I've escaped my house because plumbers have descended upon it and the water is turned off. I sought refuge at the nearby Starbucks. All that to say - this post will be a lot shorter than usual, since I'm on an iPad. Just can't type as quickly as on a computer.
There s not much else to say anyway. I'm currently working on a top secret project ... Sorry, that's all I've got for now. |
