As most of you know, I have finished the world map. In order to scan it, I had to learn how to scan an 18x24 image with my 8.5x11 scanner. I'm pretty impressed with myself that I learned out to do it (thanks to Google). I scanned the artwork in bits and pieces (7 scans total), and then simply used the "photomerge" function on Photoshop. Photoshop then figures out how to put the pieces together. and you get the above image. Photoshop is so smart! Glad to know that trick now, for when I create larger pieces in the future. The map is now available on my Society6 shop, though the colors are a bit different to make the original even more original. On that note, if you ever think that you would like something I have available in a different color combo to match your room or whatever, just let me know. Its pretty simple to accomplish.
(Apparently I'm really bad at spelling available because every time I've typed it in this post I've had to be corrected. Avalabe. Availble. Avalaible. ) And I love that its cold outside!
