coastal things

Egads, I haven't blogged since July!  This summer has been a pretty busy one--fun busy. Lovely little trips and hikes, helped out with a wonderful camp, people coming in town, buying a house--things like that. 

I finished a little doodle, "Hills over Waves,"  and then Ryan and I visited some beautiful waves ourselves.

This is "Thors Well" on Cape Perpetua on the Central Oregon Coast. It's magnificent!

Here are some projects I have in the works.... 

I began this Oregon illustration (which will be available as a coloring sheet soon), but then paused it so I could work on....

This sugar skull. I want it to be finished in time to be put in Artistic Portland by October (it also will be available as a coloring sheet soon)(I feel like there might be too many prepositions in that sentence). But I've slightly paused this one as well so I can work on....

Manatees! This has been commissioned as a birthday gift for a person whose birthday is at the beginning of September, so though I started it last I will finish it first. Very Biblical of me, no? And I think those manatees are pretty adorable, no?
