I'm happy to have finished my second acrylic painting. Getting out of my drawing comfort-zone once again. I call this one "Connections." I put the finishing touches on it today by adding a varnish--a glossy protective coat. I enjoyed this one as much as I enjoyed my first acrylic painting (below). In that it was fun initially, then I hated it, then it was just ok, and now I like it pretty well. Friends helped. I mean the TV show (see Phoebe above), but actual friends helped as well (encouraging comments, etc) as did husbands (really just my own, he told me that yes, it does look like it could be finished and stop stressing). Process pics below. This weekend I went camping with some girlfriends--four ladies and four dogs. So thankful for these beautiful friends (and dogs). Click on an image to make it bigger.

Thanks! Two of us on the camping trip had two dogs--I had Akon and Olive and Kylie had Henry and Sophie. It just happened to equal into a 1:1 ratio. :)
