Portland is a whole new world now that it's Spring! There's much less rain, much more sunshine, and so many pretty colors!
I'm in the midst of adding some pretty colors to this Tribal Triangles drawing using magical watercolor pencils
I'm also adding color to this Floral Explosion piece using sharpie markers
Both of those drawings will be available soon as instant download coloring sheets in my Etsy shop. In the meantime, you can color some other pretty Wildflowers right away. (the copyright wording goes away once you purchase it)
I added color to it in myself with colored pencils.
I'd love to see what you did with it!
The original is on display at Artistic Portland for the month of April as part the Flower Power Art Challenge. If you are in Portland, you should stop by (318 SW Taylor St) and cast your vote! You'll also get entered into a drawing (no pun intended) to win some art. One of the prizes is a print of this particular piece. And there's lots of other lovely pieces as well!
One last thing--if you've been thinking of ordering something from my Society6 shop you should do so today. Free shipping on everything!
A place to share the process. This blog is not a marketing tool or an additional way to show off, but rather a space to be honest about the triumphs and trials of my daily life as an artist and mama. Writing motivates and refreshes me.
