It's so fun to see my art "hanging" on a wall (In quotes because in this case they where Photoshopped in ;) ). These framed prints you can find on BoomBoom Prints.
I feel very close to being finished with this painting. It start with a bunch of squares and has since turned into something much different.
And speaking of beautiful painted colors that have a life of their own, I love the work of Amanda Krantz that I discovered on the Artsy Forager blog. Her paintings are so alive.
And speaking of living... we have been living in Oregon since December, and my car and I are now officially Oregonians! (weak transition, I know)
Yesterday I spent some time and cash going to the DMV to get a new drivers license and license plate. I even had to take a driving test! Gasp! (on the computer, not in a car--that would be even more terrible) But I passed, so now my Subie and I are official.
A place to share the process. This blog is not a marketing tool or an additional way to show off, but rather a space to be honest about the triumphs and trials of my daily life as an artist and mama. Writing motivates and refreshes me.
